Government Funding & Support

There are various methods available to help pay for childcare. Use the government's calculator to find out what help you are eligible for.

15 Hours Free Childcare

All children are entitled to 15 hours of completely funded nursery education the term after their 3rd birthday.

We will provide you with the necessary funding form and apply for funding on your behalf. You may split your child's 15 funded hours across more than one provider.

30 Hours Free Childcare

You may be able to get up to 30 hours free childcare (1,140 hours per year, which you can choose how you take).

If you are eligible for the extra hours, you must sign up online to get a code to give to us. You will get the extra hours once the next term starts.

Funded Two Year Olds

Little Owls is able to accept 'Funded Two Year Olds' for families who meet government criteria.

To qualify, families must be in receipt of specific benefits. Please contact us for more information about eligibility.

Tax-Free Childcare

You can get up to £500 every 3 months (£2,000 a year) for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare.

Parents who have successfully registered for an 'online tax free childcare account' will be able to send payments to us.

Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)

Children claiming free childcare for 3 and 4 year olds in Cambridgeshire may be eligible for the Early Years Pupil Premium.

This is extra funding paid to early years providers to improve outcomes for eligible children.

Employer Childcare Vouchers

We are able to accept Employers childcare vouchers as a method of paying Little Owls fees.
