Staying Connected with Your Child's Learning

Tapestry Software

We use Tapestry, a secure online platform, to share photos, videos, and observations of your child's learning journey with you.

What you'll see: Weekly pictures and videos of your child engaged in activities, learning moments, milestones, and progress updates.

Access: You'll receive login details during registration. You can view updates anytime, anywhere on your phone, tablet, or computer.

Privacy: All content is secure and only visible to you and your child's key worker.

Parent Consultations

We hold formal parent consultations with your child's key worker each term to discuss progress, development, and next steps.

When: Term-time consultations scheduled throughout the year.

Who: You'll meet with your child's dedicated key worker who knows your child best.

What we discuss: Your child's learning, development, interests, next steps, and how you can support learning at home.

Health & Wellbeing

Illness Policy

We follow current health guidance to keep all children safe. If your child is unwell, please keep them at home until they are fully recovered.

Chickenpox: Children should stay home for at least 5 days from the onset of the rash.

Infection Control

We maintain high standards of hygiene and follow government guidance on infection prevention and control.

Regular handwashing, cleaning, and sanitizing are part of our daily routine.

Allergies & Dietary Requirements

We take allergies and dietary requirements very seriously and work closely with parents to keep all children safe.

Please inform us of any allergies or dietary needs during registration.

Medications

If your child requires medication, please inform staff and provide written instructions.

All medications must be in original containers with clear labeling.

Support & Special Educational Needs (SEND)

We are committed to inclusive practice and supporting all children, including those with additional needs.

Our SENCo

Katie York is our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo).

Katie works with parents and external agencies to identify and support children with additional needs.

Inclusive Practice

We adapt our environment, activities, and support to meet the needs of all children.

Every child is valued and supported to reach their full potential.

External Support

We work with external agencies including educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, and occupational therapists.

We believe in working closely with parents to support children's development and learning.
